There are so many rucksacks on the market today that it can be difficult to know which one to choose. There are the popular brand rucksacks such as Karrimor and Berghaus which, for a hefty price tag, promise to provide you with all the latest technological developments and then there are the less well known brands which are less vocal with their advertising but seem to come with almost identical features. Essentially, it is important to choose a rucksack or a backpack that does the job you need it to do, regardless of brand and regardless of price.
When buying a rucksack there are a few things that you need to consider. Firstly, it is important to try it on, preferably whilst carrying some weight inside of it and go for a walk around the shop, this is so that you can see how it feels when you carry it around. Why do you need to do this? Well the prime function of a rucksack is to distribute the weight evenly and to enable you to move around easily and safely, any rucksack that feels uncomfortable should not be purchased – even if it is a popular brand that claims to be the best.
Secondly, it is important to think carefully about what you need the rucksack to be able to do – will you be using it for week-long camping treks? If so then you might want to purchase a large rucksack that can carry a tent and the other essentials you will need. Or will you only be using it for day-trips in which case you may only need it to be able to carry basic supplies such as water, food and sun-cream. In addition to this, some of the more expensive backpacks offer specially vented “back and shoulder” systems that help to keep you cool – if you are trekking in warmer climes then this may be something you want to take into consideration.
Finally, you need to seriously consider how often you are going to use your backpack. If it’s going to be used frequently then it’s worth investing in a backpack that is made of toughened material as it is more hardwearing and therefore will last longer, of course it’s important to be sensible here and take the price into consideration, after all who would want to pay £150 for a backpack that will last 3 years when you can pay £15 for one that is equally suitable to your needs but will last only a year.
Overall, whilst some people may be influenced into only buying branded rucksacks, you will find that you are able to get a much more tailored and personalised rucksack if you walk into the shop with an open mind, consider carefully what you actually need and take the time to try them out.

There was a time when tailored suites where extremely popular and a tailor could be found nearly everywhere you went. Currently, there are very few tailors who can provide you with a bespoke suite, and even then you will be paying a large price for the privilege. So, what is the reasoning behind this pattern?
With the current economy in the state that it is, with many people struggling to make ends meet, money is sparse and consumers are looking for cheaper alternatives, and there are many cheap alternatives to tailored suites to be found.
Primark stores are a prime example of a store providing quality alternatives. You can pick up a full suit in these stores for approximately £40 to £50, a fraction of the cost of a tailored suit. Although not a bespoke fitting, the quality is still ideal for every day and looks as good as any designer suit.
Saying that, mass produced, cheap alternative suits will never be able to replace tailored suits for quality and bespoke fittings. Tailored suits will always have a place for extra special occasions, but unfortunately the market and demand isn’t there anymore as there are so many alternatives which are simply more economically viable.

Who wants to spend all their working days looking like a bank manager in a seventies sitcom?!
Let’s face it, the days of the restrictive and uncomfortable three piece suit complete with pocket watch have long gone.
Lightweight, tailored and easy care clothing for the office has become the norm, especially since many managers, these days, prefer their staff to work in a situation where a comfortable level of informality is more usual.
A suit may be just the thing for the job interview - but after that it hangs in the wardrobe!
This isn’t to say that suits have been replaced by ripped denims and flip flops, just that well cut trousers and a clean shirt can be much better suited to an office environment.
Dry cleaning costs can be exhorbitant, too, so it makes sense to have simpler, more relaxed clothes that will wash and wear well. Practicality and comfort is usually the key, and with a huge range on offer in the high street, it’s easier to find stylish alternatives that still look smart.

Tailored suits only seem to be for special occassions now, they seem to be for things such as weddings, proms, birthday bashes, or special coperate events and they only ever seem to be loaned and rarely bought unless of course you are rich and can afford such priviledges.
The only time i have ever worn a tailored suit was for my prom in 2005, i think the market now for suits is so big and there is no need to pay over the odds for tailored suits, when you can go down to your local high street and buy a suit for a fraction of the cost, and if one shop doesnt fit the odds are that the next one will have a suit that will fit.
I feel the best place to buy cheap and not bad quality suits is from Next, they cater for a wide range and are fairly cheap for anyone, if anyone asked me to recommend a shop to buy a cheap but decent suit i would say Next. If anyone just said where can i get a good suit from, there is no question it would have to be Marks and Spencers.

I think there’s a tendency for people to dress over the top whilst at work, and there’s the other end of the spectrum where people don’t dress suitably for their work. It’s good to find a happy medium.
A shirt is a must have for any office job, or any job you specifically want to make an impression. In my opinion opting to go for cufflinks is a bad idea, as I only wear them on special occasions, and that is most certainly not in the workplace. I also think most employers would agree with me on this instance.
It’s easy to see those who pride themselves in appearance, and those who over dress to over compensate. It should not be the latter. People should dress suitably to their environments and wearing cufflinks isn’t suitable dress in the office.
In my opinion a shirt, tie, jacket, smart trousers, and decent shoes are a must in the office workplace, whereas cufflinks are a must not.

Shirts and cufflinks are they a must? Not in the offices that I have worked in. I have come across a few individuals who cared enough about their appearance to wear a shirt and cufflinks.
In the majority of the offices I have worked in the men still wear a shirt and tie on a regular basis but very few seem to go the extra mile and wear the cufflinks. Cufflinks only seem to come into play for formal occasions such as at weddings or the races.
Cufflinks are a real sign of someone who takes pride in their appearance, they usually are sported by the smart dresser and thinker. It is often very hard for a man to make a statement when he dresses but cufflinks can do this. Not the funny, novelty type but the classy gold or silver cufflink, some even have the wearer’s initals engraved. I gave my husband a set of gold cufflinks for our wedding day, but these only come out for the very rare occasion and are not in everyday use.

In my personal opinion, a snappy suit is more than a uniform. A suit shows class, style and charisma. it is a well known saying that first impresions count and I think one of the best impressions comes from that of a man with a good suit!
I see suits, shirts, ties, cufflinks, the lot, as a complete neccesity in the modern workplace.
Alot of people may argue that if companies were more casual with their dress codes then they wouldbe a lot more productive, relaxed and comfortable but on the other hand there is the argument that without the presentation that comes with well dressed employees there is little point to a high productivity rate as their company will have a poor image.
At the end of the day this may very well depend on the type of buissiness however I’d say theres enough freedom of choice and expresion whilst looking professional in a suit!

Weddings are one of the biggest monetary experiences many of us will have in our lives, except for our homes. With all the essentials - dress, shoes, reception venue, honeymoon, flowers, cake, photographer, etc. it can be tempting to try and save a few pounds on some of the less talked about items such as bridal jewellery.
However, accessories can make or break an outfit. With jewellery you get what you pay for - cheap jewellery generally looks cheap. Add some cheap jewellery to an outfit, and the rest of the outfit can look instantly cheaper. The last thing you want on your wedding day, especially if you are wearing an expensive dress, is to cheapen your look. On your wedding day, you are aiming to look as good as possible.
Very expensive jewellery is not essential though - there are many nice pieces in good jewellers that cost less than £100, but will set off a bridal outfit well without breaking the bank. The most important thing is to find pieces that look good together, and look great with your dress.
When buying bridal jewellery another tip is to avoid the items in bridal shops - these are often overpriced compared to items you can easily find in good jewellers.

A cocktail ring range in price and are big bold beautiful rings . They look very expensive and very beautiful . very luxurious looking indeed , i feel this ring is more fashionable rather than a ring for marriage or commitment.
A eternity ring is the same as above apart form being big and bold . An eternity ring is a sign of commitment to a person you love.
There are lots of beautiful ones on the market.
So in my opinion an eternity ring is good for commitment and a cocktail ring is good for fashion .

Thankfully most high street stores cater for the petite woman and thankfully they design the pieces to suit the petite woman.
One of he key rules in dressing well is tailoring as loose or baggy can overtake a small frame.
As far as Jackets go, waist length or shorter is best as anything longer will drown a petite shape. A shorter style will balance out your size.
Again with skirts tailoring is the key, styles that are no longer than knee length work best as the help to lengthen your legs.
Fitted styles work best with a petite frame, although you may get away with a slightly fuller skirt as long as it’s knee length or above and preferably plain.
The best tops to wear are again slightly fitted, never baggy or too long.
Three quarter length sleeves and a V- neck all help to lengthen your top half.
As a petite size these are rules and tips picked up from people in the know!
One of the best tips is to be wary of bold or very bright prints as the overall effect can make you look even smaller, if you must use a print try to keep it on one item of clothing.
And it goes without saying High heels can indeed to wonders for us petite ladies.
